Chiropractic Manipulation & Manual Therapies

We provide Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy of the spine and extremity joints utilizing a variety of methods including Diversified, Flexion/Distraction, Thompson, Gonstead, Activator, and Arthrostim. The Doctor also employs a number of manual therapies like Active Release Technique, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Technique, and Instrament-Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation. These techniques target the joints and soft tissues increasing range of motion, improving flexibility & mobility of tissues, decreasing pain, restoring normal function and correcting the issues causing your condition. Never in the history of Chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, David Fields has years of training and experience. Rehabilitative Stretches & Exercises

We take the time to assess your mechanical dysfunction so we can prescribe personalized and targeted rehab. This involves progressive stretches and exercises that retrain your body correcting abnormal posture and movement patterns. If left unattended these abnormalities can lead to stress on your joints, muscles, ligaments, and sometimes even your nerves. The combination of manipulation and rehab improves the efficiency of care resulting in faster and longer lasting relief.

 Massage Therapy

Massage therapy offers a natural conservative treatment approach that relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. Our Licensed Massage Therapist, Derek Morrow, provides specific massage and muscular therapy that is tailored to meet the patient's condition and injury. Therapeutic EMS

Therapeutic Modalities

We offer a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Decompression, Ultrasound, Electric Muscle Stimulation, and Traction. These modalities help to restore normal movement, decrease pain, speed up healing, decrease swelling, decrease muscle tension, increase joint space, unload the vertebral discs, take pressure off nerves, and generally get you feeling better faster.

Muscle & Joint Injections

Muscles can often become chronically tight and tense producing dysfunctional bands of tissue called trigger points. Trigger Point Injections with B12 is an effective option. This tends to work better than simply dry-needling the area because of the role B12 plays in metabolism and the nervous system. Other natural neutraceutical injections such as Traumeel and Zeel can help to decrease inflammation and repair connective tissue which is important in sports injuries, motor vehicle/auto accidents, sprains & strains, and inflammatory conditions like arthritis, bursitis, and tendinitis.

Diet, Nutritional Counseling, and Supplementation

In today's world, it is easy to neglect our diet. Sometimes getting back on track can be difficult. What we take into our bodies can have a profound effect on our recovery and general health. We provide specific recommendations on diet, healthy food choices, and supplementation to enhance our patient's return to optimal health. Recommendations are tailored to your specific needs. Nutritional counseling is simply a part of your care as wholistic approach. The doctor may recommend additional supplementation if he thinks it would benefit you.  Lifestyle Advice

It is common for our bad habits to be a source of our dysfunction and pain. We often find it helpful to coach our patients on certain activities they should avoid or modify in order to stop aggravating a condition. This includes ergonomics in the work space, altering techniques at the gym, recommending exercises, correcting bad motor patterns, and modifying habits at home. Our goal is to help every patient achieve an active and happy lifestyle full of the activities they both want and need to do. We recognize that each patient uses their body differently in their day-to-day routines. We want to help you find the most efficient way for your body to tackle these activities so you can do more of what you love.
